We are trying to group tasks together so that they can act functionally as one. For example, we might have the tasks "Frame", "Mechanical", and "Paint". We ideally, the process should be conforming if the case flows through any or all of those tasks, and in any order. So if the activity just went through "Frame", or if it went "Mechanical" to "Frame", or from "Frame" to "Mechanical" to "Paint", all should be conforming.  In regard to the screenshot, we are getting violations because "04 Paint" is followed by "04 QA Post-Paint". We have tried grouping them in a subprocess, and we have also tried tried grouping them as a series of tasks in parallel connected by parallel gateways. Neither seems to work. Is there a better method for grouping tasks inside of the process model?

I was looking for a way to exploit the timestamp of the complete (end) of an event. I couldn't find it in Celonis Academics EMS. Is there any way to do it? We were provided a data set with both start timestamp and complete (end) timestamp, so we can analyze the waiting time. Is it possible to analyze the waiting time in Celonis EMS?

Hallo. I need a PQL Function Library. I have found the page, where it is stored. However, I cannot download it. The webpage is https://help.celonis.de I cannot figure out where I can find the library. Since Celonis uses their own language, even it is very similar to SQL, it is much better to have the library where you can look up for a function or command. Thanks in advance.  P.S: Regarding the version of Celonis, I have no clue. I know that we use a web-hosted Celonis.

Can someone explain the relationship between IBC, EMS and Snap? Many thanks.

I am new in process mining and Celonis, and i'm stucked.We got OLAP Table with data into it, in last column we counting KPI, the question in how we can measure process at the specified time?Example: I got an document that flows through the signing process, and for now this doc is signed, but 2 days before it was on some step (like signing paper copy with partner) and i need my OLAP table to count difference between the start of this signing and today(date) when i filter my Analysis with the other graph.Now, i using the "PROCESS EQUALS 'Signing with Partner' END" to determine state of the process, and it's works fine for documents, that really at this step for TODAY(), but if i filter EVENTTIME in the past - i still can see the KPI's of this doc. How can i get the process state of the case at specified date? Thanks!

I want to sum only distinct values. And here´s my problem. I created a variable with the order and the position of the order (CONCAT VKBEL & POS). And now I want to SUM the amount of the order quantity of all variables. But the variable occurs more than once. Is there a function that only sum distinct values? Thanks in advance for any ideas.

We're working with make to stock so the direct date difference between receiving (101) and sending (261) movements will not work.

I'm curious as we only have limited consumption in the instance and we're using live data connection. I can think of two approaches:  One is to schedule a job which executes full load at a given time but that would be setting it up with certain parameters before scheduling so there is still manual work every now and then. It also involves the source system so I wanted to know if - two, it can be done just within Celonis, is there a script which can be scheduled for execution and checks whether tables have exceeded the set scope (e.g. one year). I understand this might have to be customized for different process blocks but this kind of optimization would be really helpful and I'd like to know if there's already a process/ template being used.

Hi All, I have a date dimension and a related KPI (Using Running_Total). What we'd like to be able to do is to filter the date dimension shown in the component (e.g Last 20 days), but still have the KPI calculation based on the full dataset (ie. ignore the date filter). thanksDavid

I'm in process of creating an external application that extracts all customer process, analysis defined in the Celonis System. In Celnois, a process/analysis can reside in one of following spaces/moduleStudioProcess AnalyticsProcess RepositoryWhich module i should target to extract processes or i need to extract process/analysis from all modules? To extract process from Process repository I can use REST API.To extract Process analysis from Process Analytics i can use PyCelnois API.But i'm not sure what API is available to extract processes from Studio. Any pointer(s) shall be really appreciated.

Hi team! We've figured out a use case where modeling the target Business Process via BPMN in Celonis may not be enough. We'd also want to: Be able to indicate target throughput times for specific activities while building/uploading Process Model in the Conformance CheckerBe able to run the comparison of the target Process Model against the actual process taking into account indicated throughput time, so that the user doesn't need to enter Targets as constants and build the OLAP table to compare against them using PQL.

Hello All, Is there any way to get the sum of the Throughput time other than what is there. For example want to group by with some activities, the throughput only available for the avg, median and mean. If we can get the sum of the same. 

Dears, I want to know the impact of S4HANA implementation on the real time connector which is based on the logic of table logging mechanism.  Once we migrate o S4HANA the ECC tables will become views and then how will this table logging mechanism work as I understood there is no change on tables in S4HANA for P2P process for example ?  Thanks for your insights.  Regards,Priyanka
